What’s your Passion?

Hey everyone! If you’re checking out this blog entry, that suggests I’m taking a big leap of faith and sharing a new journey with you. What journey? My photography/branding journey! As many of you know by now, I started creating as a blogger back in 2016. Since then, I’ve taken A LOT of pictures of myself and worked with a lot of brands with myself in mind. As the years have went on, I’ve grown more and more attracted to creating in a way that isn’t just all about me. The style of my creativity has become community driven and I couldn’t be more grateful! My hope for what I put out now, is that it is a circuit for those that support me. That you’re not just reading this post to get my numbers up, but you’re here to be enlightened!

So back to this photography and branding journey - My first camera purchase was in 2015 before going on a trip to Europe. Paris, Barcelona, and warm weather? It was camera time! However, I had no idea what I was doing. I just figured a camera that wasn’t disposable or already on my phone was extremely “cool.” However, I quickly began to enjoy how it felt to capture an image from my own perspective. Over time now, I’ve had the opportunity to capture images with someone else’s eye as the goal.

Towards the end of 2019 I decided to start offering to take pictures for people. More so, headshots and events for memories. From the first post I made on my Facebook, it’s been a non stop craft, that I truly enjoy building on! However, the majority of the wonderful people I’ve worked with haven’t come to me just solely for pictures randomly - they’ve always entrusted in me to break down how they should take their pictures and what the pictures should be doing for them. It wasn’t until someone literally messaged me for help using the word branding, that I realized that’s exactly what I have been doing! It took so long to put a title on it because as I mentioned earlier, I just enjoy community style creating.

Like anything new in your life, it can be scary to present it to others. However, I am so excited to share with you, my social media photo plans! My goal is to help you feel empowered in your passion, define and customize branding in your own way, and to relieve the fear of moving forward in what the world is missing from you!
