Here’s What I’ve Noticed + Learned!

It’s been 1 full week since I’ve announced my journey into photography and creative consulting! Woohoo, cue the freelancer confetti! Since last Wednesday, I’ve gotten several inquiries that have taught me a huge lesson early on - I NEED to have a scheduling tool. Being that myself and all the amazing people reaching out have lives, why make it a hassle to get together and create magic?!

Don’t worry, I’m getting to the link for you to schedule your appointment!

For now, I also want to share how grateful I am to those that encouraged me to take this venture so seriously! If you’re anything like myself, you over think and under-qualify yourself. When I began doing headshots I told myself it would stay as such and I would offer for as low of a price as possible, if not free! However, the people in my life helped me see how that would be very tiresome. Free labor is not heroic and should be avoided at all costs! (Literally)

We’re almost to the link you’re looking for! I just couldn’t continue on without giving a formal thank you (aka name dropping) to those that helped me in this process! Firstly, I have to thank Shannon Cohen of Tough Skin, Soft Heart for making the time and sitting with me a few weeks ago. We sat down and doodled notes on an old bank envelope she found in her purse (we both forgot our notebooks haha), but it was a life shifting meet up. She looked me in my eyes and said “Bri I need you to believe in you.” We wrote out 4 content plans, however I wasn’t sure on the names of the plans and what they would entail - that part was up to me entirely being that I would be the one delivering the service. Not only did she take the time, energy, and effort, she also took the initiative to be my first official client! She picked a plan, payed her deposit, and set up a date - if that’s not encouraging, I don’t know what’s wrong with you!

I also have to seriously thank Marshall and Christine Kilgore (my siblings), Kimberly Marie of Luxe Artisan Preserves, Jhaelynn Elam of Sizije Travel Company, and anyone who I’m missing, for listening to my ideas, giving constructive criticism, and offering encouragement and advice! Your kindness and honesty will be forever appreciated in my heart! A HUGE thank you to those who have trusted me already with photography and branding as well - you rock, basically!

I share all this to not only thank those who have been such a help and light in my creative journey, but to say it’s crucial to not be afraid of sharing your ideas with others. Tell someone about your passions. Get around people who can tell you before you even notice yourself, how talented you are!

*drumroll*

Now, for the moment you’ve been waiting for - my scheduling link. As I mentioned earlier, the inquires I received showed me having a set schedule is going to make this so much more accessible to those who would like my services! Below you will find my schedule!

Please feel free to reach out via email if you have any questions! ( createdwithbri@gmail.com )
