Opposition Equals Opportunity

1 - Keep it Original

The first thing we think to do with a set is to keep both pieces together, we hate to divide family, but all's fair in love and fashion right?! However, this set in it's original state looks amazing on it's own. You don't have to worry about having a hard time finding accessories to match either!

Hey loves! It’s Monday, which means you’re reading a new blog post. I’m so happy you’ve stopped by today. It’s time for some transparency, fear facing, and then some good ol encouragement!

As you all know, as of last week, I started weekly blog posts! Exciting right? Absolutely, but extremely terrifying (there’s that transparency) for me. Where will I find the time to shoot the looks? Will I run out of topics? Didn’t I just move out? What if I need help? What if, what if, and WHAT IF?!

2 - Play it Smooth

Trading in the sleeveless top from this set for a cotton button up tee created a chill look. I could wear this is to lunch, a meeting, or replace the heels with sandals and head to the beach or a picnic!

So many fears have flooded my mind with making this decision. It’s created what feels like a lot of opposition. Or, in other words a lot of resistance! I’m just ready for things to take off already and for the time where I look back on these scary questionable moments and see how I persevered.

I’m not at that moment just yet, BUT that’s okay. Because Opposition only Creates space for Opportunity! This fear, doubt, and uncomfortableness only pushes me to keep going and strive for the best. Just like this set switch up, I have to allow myself to remain chill.

3 - Layer for Success

This way is probably my favorite because layers just seem to add that sophisticated feel to the look!

A great way I’ve learned to make it through awkward times is to keep a positive perspective on what I’ve already made it through in the past! I didn't make it this far just to stop here. I’ve already experienced this before in other areas right? So, why can’t I push through again? Why can’t I win another battle? I CAN and I WILL. Truth is, there is ultimately so many different ways (or layers in this case) to achieve what we want in life. The key that I'm learning is to simply never quit. Even if you have to create your own lane and space, take pride in that!

So, what am I saying? That you’re still going to hear from me every week! It’s not time to throw in the towel or play it safe!
