Being that this is my second time working with JORD, I knew what to expect- great customer service, a quality crafted timepiece, and questions! Yes, questions from almost every person I encounter once they notice I'm wearing a wooden watch. I love to tell people that my watch is from JORD. When JORD Wood Watches' team reached out to me again, I was so excited and definitely wanted to collaborate a second time around. Once I found out which unique timepiece I'd be receiving, I knew how I wanted to style it. I wanted to keep it simple, relatable, and chic.
It's summer time for the majority of us and we've already been reaching 90 degree days. My usual forte when it comes to my fashion sense and getting dressed includes some kind of heel, but I decided to wear flat sandals with this look to have a simple piece. I felt the gingham peek-a-boo shoulder dress was relatable because it was inexpensive but flattering. I think that's most women's goal for 90 degree weather when they're on the go. I also included a small Coach clutch purse because halling around my usual oversized duffel, full of receipts and junk was too much for this look. Then, finally, the JORD timepiece stole the show with its unique chic craftsmanship of course! The plum color really hit it off with the navy dress, and nude flat sandals and their fringe.
