20 Somethings Have Me Like...
You're Exactly Where You Should Be!
Hey loves, happy Wednesday! Recently I was feeling a little odd. To be honest, basically a complete mess (lol). I felt as though I wasn’t doing enough “cool” things. Work was going well, and so was blogging but I kept convincing myself I needed more. Not even knowing what exactly what the issue was. And that’s okay!
You can still be very blessed, and have off moments and times. I couldn’t pin point what the deal was. I just felt a feeling of lack. Lack of support, lack of confidence, lack of opportunities, and even lack of time. It’s silly looking at those couple of off days now, but it’s important to acknowledge how we feel. Don’t ignore emotions that are blatantly there just because in realty, you have amazing things going on. Take a deep breath, give yourself a pep talk if you have to, and keep going!
It's also important to keep a positive and healthy balance on your perspective. Being that I’m blessed to not have any truly pressing issues, I decided not to allow myself to wallow in a few “bad days.” When you feel down for “no good reason,” do your best to look at what you already have. What you’ve already done and can do. I realized I was doing a lot of the comparison game, and telling myself where I should be instead of taking in exactly where I am. How far I've come!
A year ago, I didn't have half the accomplishments, skills, or habits I do at this precious moment.
These 20 something years are tricky, but I’ve learned my toughest battles have come from comparing myself! All things are working for my good. I don't have to prove what I have going on. I don't have to rush and get ahead of myself. I have been called for such a time as this. I will not give up, or dim my light in curiosity of who's light is brighter.
I hope i've encouraged you to keep going. To remain in this blessing called life. Keep creating.
